Shouman Rami Takes Down Poker Cup Main Event In Cyprus

The Mediterranean Poker Cup 2011 took place at the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel and Casino in Cyprus from Apr. 29 to May 9 and featured a wide range of events. The most important of them all, the €2,500 main event, was won by Shouman Rami.

The Lebanese champ beat Bahadir Kara heads up to take down the €55,755 top prize. Rami was the last player standing of a 76-strong field and took the lion’s share of the €174,800 prize pool.
