RPS Kiev winner Dmitry GromovPokerStars.com recently hosted its Russian Poker Awards 2010 in Kiev with Ukrainian player Alexey Zharko winning two awards — Best Russian Player of the Year and Breakthrough of the Year.

Also picking up gongs for the fan voted awards were Konstantin Puchkov for Player of the Year and Dmitriy Stelmak for Internet Player of the Year while Liya Gerasimova won Best Female Player and Team PokerStars Pro Alex Kravchenko secured his place in the Russian Poker Series Hall of Fame.

Elsewhere Dmitry Gromov won the PokerStars.net Russian Poker Series grand final in the city on December 6 topping a 295-strong field to lift $201,362.
