The nine players who made the final table of the 2010 World Series of Poker main event will reunite to take part in February’s Mega Stack Challenge at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn. Those players, known as the November Nine, will host the Mega Stack Challenge XIX tournament series from Feb. 4-13. During that time they will also sit down with each other for a historic November Nine reunion event on Feb. 8.
The November Nine players are Jonathan Duhamel, John Racener, Joseph Cheong, Filippo Candio, Michael Mizrachi, John Dolan, Jason Senti, Matt Jarvis, and Soi Nguyen. It was the 23-year-old Canadian, Duhamel, who won the WSOP main event and the $8.9 million top prize after besting 7,319 other players.
This reunion event will mark the first time that the November Nine participants have reunited to play again, but they won’t be the only ones involved. Foxwoods will hold qualifying tournaments from Jan. 11 through February 3 to allow other players the chance to participate in the event alongside the November Nine. By the time Feb. 8 rolls around, the reunion tournament will be made up of three tables.
