PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Day 2

Day 2 at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $10,000 no-limit hold’em main event saw the money bubble burst and many top professionals ascend to the top of the leader board. Team PokerStars pro Chris Moneymaker was one of those players and he ends the night with 650,500. The overall chip leader is Adam Geyer who holds just under a million (909,000). Other big names that are near the top of the standings include Eric Buchman (648,500), David Sands (617,000), Eric Froehlich (595,500), Mike Sowers (506,000), and Dwyte Pilgrim (489,000).

The day started with 645 players and by the end of the night the field had played all the way down to the final 173. The money bubble burst when just 232 players remained, ensuring that every player still in the tournament will now walk away with at least $15,000. The top prize of $2.3 million still awaits the champion many days from now. The final table will take place on Saturday, January 15.
