Season III of the European Masters of Poker gets underway today in Casino Las Palmas, Gran Canaria on the Canary Islands with the £1,100 buy-in main event expected to attract several hundred runners.
Last year the main event was won by Pole Maciej Lipney who beat 287 opponents and took down €66,240.
Also taking place at the festival is a €400 buy in event on Saturday and a €150 buy in event on Sunday.
