World Series of Poker Circuit -- Pennsylvania Tournament Series Begins

The Harrah’s in Chester, PA Hosts 38 Tournaments for the Tour’s First Stop in the State

Harrah's Chester in PennsylvaniaCards got into the air today at the World Series of Poker Circuit tournament series at the Harrah’s in Chester, Pennsylvania. This is the first time that the WSOP Circuit has visited Pennsylvania. The tournament series will feature 38 tournaments that will run from today until May 10.

The featured event at the tournament series will be the $1,500 no-limit hold’em main event that will award a gold ring and a seat in the WSOP Circuit National Championship. The main event will begin on Sunday, May 8 and a champion will be crowned on May 10. You can check back at that time for a recap of the final table from Card Player.

In addition to the main event there will be a total of nine ring events at the Harrah’s Chester tournament series, and the player who earns the most points based on their performance in these nine evens will also win a seat in the WSOP Circuit National Championship.

Tournaments will range in buy-ins from $50 for super satellites to $1,500 for the main event. Games spread will include no-limit hold’em, Omaha eight-or-better, and H.O.S.E. Mega and super satellites will run on May 6 and 7. There will be two, $200 super satellites on May 6 and they begin at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time. The next day will feature two more super satellites at the same time, and in addition to that there will be a $50 super satellite with re-buys that begins at noon local time and it has 20 seats guaranteed.
