Day 2 of the $10,000 World Series of Poker Circuit Southern Regional Championship at the Harrah’s in New Orleans grew the field size to 75 runners by the time that registration closed at the end of the first level of the day. That made the total prize pool $698,398 and the first-place prize was $237,456. Here is a look at the total payout structure:

Brandon Adams was at the top of the leader board with 136,150 when play began today, but by the end of the night he was the last player to be eliminated in 19th place. You can read the hand that was the punctuation mark at the end of this shocking series of events below.
While he fell others rose to the top, including overnight chip leader Brian Senie (291,000) and Shannon Shorr, who also holds more than 200,000 (242,500). Shorr is looking to make his second WSOP Circuit Regional Championship final table of the season as is Steve Brecher, who holds 161,800 to reside in the top five.
