Redbet Acquires HeyPokerScandinavian Site Has 37,000 Customers and SEK2.7 Million First Quarter Profit |

Redbet Gaming today announced it had acquired HeyPoker.com, a Scandinavian and Eastern European facing online poker, casino, and betting site with 37,000 customers.
HeyPoker.com, part of the OnGame network, made SEK2.7 million (€290,000) profit in the first quarter of 2011. The deal was a part cash, part share deal and much of the current management team are expected to stay in place as is the brand.
Jorgen Andersson, chief executive of Redbet said, “Redbet’s growth strategy is based on both organic growth and acquisitions. The acquisition of Heypoker strengthens Redbet’s business and accelerates our growth in selected markets.”
Earlier this year the company took over I4Poker.com and also acquired a second poker room on the Entraction network – DoubleCardrooms.
