Season three of the European Masters of Poker (EMOP) reaches its fourth stop today in Clontarf Castle, Dublin, Ireland.
Day 1A of the €1,000 + €100 buy-in main event kicks off at 2 p.m. and players will sit down to 20,000 in chips. Day 1B will follow at the same time tomorrow, and the final table will be played out on Jul. 31.
A special golf tournament adds a little excitement to the action for main-event players who are interested. The setting is Malahide golf club and the top nine finishers will get a seat in a sit ‘n’ go at Clontarf Castle to be held on Jul. 31. The winner of this special tournament will receive a package to EMOP Barcelona worth €2,000.
Back in the Castle, there are plenty of tournaments to partake in other than the main event, such as no-limit hold’em side events of various buy-ins (from €100 to the two-day €450), a €50 rebuy pot-limit Omaha event, an EMOP Barcelona super satellite, and plenty of single table sit ‘n’ gos.
