A dozen new millionaires were minted today at the World Series of Poker main event.
Play will continue today until nine players remain, but the millionaire bubble burst when William Thorsson was knocked out in 13th place. He earned $907,128.
All the players left will earn at least $1,154,527. Those who make the final table will at least win $1,566,828. The top three finishers get $12 million, $6,102,499 and $4,123,310.
The millionaires are: Jamie Gold, Allen Cunningham, Paul Wasicka, Erik Friberg, Fred Goldberg, Rhett Butler, Dan Nassif, Doug Kim, John Magill, Richard Lee, Michael Binger, and Leif Force.
Players will have a day of rest tomorrow before coming together in the Rio Casino's Amazon Room at noon on Thursday.
