The final table of the Italian Poker Tour (IPT) San Remo €2,000 + €200 main event is set and ready for the ultimate battle. Leading the pack is IPT Nova Gorica champ Oleksii Kovalchuk with just over 1.9 million in chips.
He has quite a tough fight ahead of him however as hovering behind him with a little more than 1.3 million is 2008 EPT Prague winner Salvatore Bonavena. Throw in Fabio “vaffancallme” Pilato, a Supernova Elite, and the scene is set for some interesting action.
The final table will kick off at 2 p.m. (local time) today at the San Remo Casino, and the remaining eight survivors will play for the €175,000 first prize.
