Rank Plc, owner of brands such as Blue Square Poker and Grosvenor Casinos, said its 2011 online poker revenue was down 27.8 percent in 2011 to £1.3 million from £1.8 million in 2010.
The second half of 2011 saw poker revenue down 25 percent to £600,000 from £800,000 a year earlier.
Rank also owns the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour which operates out of its casinos.
Last summer the company changed its mind about selling the GUKPT and Blue Square Poker businesses.
Overall Rank Interactive, which operates Rank’s online brands such as Blue Square Poker, MeccaBingo.com, and GrosvenorCasinos.com, saw revenue climb 24.4 percent to £71.8 million from £57.7 million.
