Swede Daniel Haglund has won the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Walsall taking down €45,100 for besting 151 opponents at the G, Casino in the English west midlands town.
Haglund from Tibro, who has made a World Series of Poker final table, beat start-of-day chip leader Steve Holden in a 75 minute heads up duel having already knocked out three players at the final table.
Haglund said of his victory, "I wasn’t thinking too much, to be honest, I just tried to play decent poker and hoped to run OK.”
