Bet365 today launched Sprint Poker, a fast poker format which allows players to play hundreds of hands per hour.
Like Full Tilt’s Rush Poker, PokerStars Zoom Poker, Microgaming’s Blaze Poker and Relax Gaming’s Fast Poker, iPoker has broken out the ‘speed’ adjective to describe its fast-fold game which it says eliminates the waiting time between hands by allowing players to join a new table and receive a new hand as soon as the fold a hand.
Bet365 is the first room on the network to roll out Speed Poker having rebranded it Sprint. Managing director of gaming at the site, Steve Ibberson, said, "We’re excited by the launch of Sprint and we think that our players will be too.
“We want to provide the latest innovations so it’s great to be first into the market with Sprint: it keeps us ahead of the competition. With this format, even if you’ve got the same amount of time to play, you can play more hands and make more decisions; so it’s more intense than normal poker."
