The $3,000 limit hold’em event at the 2012 World Series of Poker belongs to Kenny Hsiung, a 29-year-old poker pro from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Hsiung took down event no. 48, topping a field of 247 over three days on his way to a $165,205 payday, the gold bracelet and 612 Card Player Player of the Year points.
This was the largest score of Hsiung’s career. The limit hold’em specialist has seven other cashes on his tournament resume, all at the WSOP.
Other notables appearing at the final table included John Myung, Matt Woodward, Dwyte Pilgrim, Paul Berende and eventual runner up Robert Hwang.
