The International Stadiums Poker Tour (ISPT) is gearing up for their inaugural event, establishing the first online and live tournament in poker history, scheduled for late May 2013 at the legendary Wembley Stadium in London.
The online and live tournament is a brand new concept, devised thanks to technological innovations which will allow up to 30,000 players from all over the world to compete on digital tablets. The top 3,000 players will then advance to the live tournament which will be played right on the Wembley Stadium field.
The tournament, which will feature a €600 buy-in, will be accessible to everyone. Organizers are expecting a huge turnout and an overall prize pool of approximately €20 million.
The tour has picked up four poker pro ambassadors since its launch in Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, Liz Lieu, David Benyamine and Sam Trickett.
