As ever its been a up and down rollercoaster ride for poker players on Twitter this week.
While the World Series of Poker main event final table made headlines all over the world new babies, broken down cars and the return of Full Tilt Poker, made for some interesting conversations online.
Sam Trickett, who won $10 million when he finished runner up in the Big One For One Drop tournament at the WSOP during the summer, donated some back to the poker community with a large loss on what turned out to be one of those days.
Brutal Brutal day,Ran scary bad online and dropped $250k and then my car decides to break down…… #goingtothepubtogetwasted

However the news that the $1 million Big One for One Drop would return to the WSOP in 2014 brough a glimmer of good news for the young Brit.

He managed to take some time out from losing money to watch the WSOP main event final table when it was three handed and seemed very impressed by Greg Merson.

So Devilfish became a proud dad again and immediately popped up with some “dad”-style jokes and went out to celebrate the arrival of his new daughter.

Finally the biggest poker story of the year is about to get its happy ending – for non U.S. poker players at any rate.
Full Tilt Poker returns with real money play next Tuesday – play money was launched earlier this week.
Gus Hansen returned to Twitter after an absence of eight months and is licking his lips at the prospect.
Full Tilt Launch 5 days to go! Very excited and I think with Me, Durrrr and Isildur hitting the tables we will see a lot of crazy action!
