PKR.com’s recent 51-event Oktoberfest attracted a record 22,000 participants.
Events were tailored to suit all pockets from $3.50 to $270 and the total prize pool reached $479,522.
The main attraction, the $270 buy in PKR Masters was won by Swedish player “SmackCrackMC” who won $16,477 for topping the 340-strong field.
Marketing manager at the site, Simon Prodger, said, “With three identical events each day for low, mid and higher stakes, every single player on PKR could find something to suit their taste and bankroll.
“We’re delighted with the high turnout and look forward to providing more of the same over the Christmas period with our next tournament series. And with our fun range of avatar costumes and themed environments, it’s a period when PKR really comes into its own.”
