The Asian-facing Bodog Poker Network has announced its latest venture, the Anonymous Poker Tour which will see both live and online quaifying events culminate in a $100,000 Grand Final in Manila in January 2014.

No details about stops on the Tour or the times of online event have been given yet and the press release does not stipulate if the quoted $100,000 is a guarantee or not but it does say there will also be “specially invited poker heroes” and that there will be some qualifying events in Europe as well as Asia.

Jonas Odman, managing director of Bodog Poker Network, said, "This series will help highlight exactly how and why we feel our network is the best and safest place for both recreational poker players and operators alike.

“Operators who service sports bettors and casino players do not want their customers leaking money to non-depositing poker pros who are using sophisticated software in order to win.

“Our anonymous tables take this unfairness out of the equation, creating a much better experience for the leisure player."

The company will also soon announce a new partner which has signed up to be part of the network.
