Betfair Poker has launched “New Betfair Poker” on the iPoker network.

The move, announced earlier this month, is the start of a six-month transition away from the Ongame network.

Betfair will retain Ongame as its second network until July 2013 when it will move fully to iPoker.

The marketing copy at the new-look website promises:
“NOW EVEN MORE EXCITING
More players and more tables
New! Speed poker
New look interface
Available in 5 languages"

“NOW EVEN MORE VALUE
Bigger guaranteed tournaments
Welcome bonus for all customers
Rewarding new loyalty programme
Sit’n’go tournaments with bigger jackpots”

The company joins the likes of Paddy Power, bet365, Titan and Everest Poker in the top tier of iPoker rooms.

Betfair’s poker revenue declined by 18 percent in the second quarter of its financial year 2012/13.

Ongame also lost its largest room and former owner, bwin, lastDecember.
