Second Season III Main Event Of 2013 Gets Underway In Ireland Today

The PokerStars UK & Ireland Poker Tour moves to Cork, Ireland today for the start of its €700 + €70 buy in main event.

The second stop on the Tour of 2013 will see up to 800 players participate over two day 1s for a guaranteed prize pool of €250,000 at the Rochestown Hotel until February 18.

Players start with 15,000 in chips and 60 minute blinds. Three percent of the prize pool is withheld to cover staff costs.

The last time the Tour pulled into the port of Cork on Ireland’s south west coast it was won by Sam Razavi who took down €71,000 for topping the 601-strong field.

UKIPT Cork features 12 tournaments between now and Monday including an eighthanded €2,000 + €150 buy in high roller event starting Saturday, a €200 + €20 buy in pot-limit Omaha game and a €150 + €15 turbo deepstack no-limit hold’em tournaments.
