This week sees the 10th annual _Irish Poker Classic _at the Macau Sporting Club, Cork Ireland.
The popular festival has €60,000 in guaranteed prize pool – €40,000 for the €500 + €60 main event, €10,000 for tonight’s €180 + €20 warm up event which mirrors the main event structure, €5,000 for Saturday’s €100 + €50 + €12 re-buy bounty event and €5,000 for Sunday’s €100 + €12 sixhanded event.
The two-day 1 €40,000 guaranteed rebuy no-limit hold’em main event gets underway on Thursday. Players start with 20,000 in chips and a 60-minute clock which rises to 75 minutes from day 2 onwards.
The final table will be reached on Sunday.
The festival also hosts a €50 + 6 ‘win the button’ tournament and a €50 + €6 turbo deepstack event.
