Chanracy Khun eliminated every single opponent at the six-handed live streamed final table of the 2013 bwin World Poker Tour Barcelona €3,500 no-limit hold’em main event.
For the win the Canadian earned €200,000 ($258,448) and 612 Card Player Player of the Year points for the win, sending him into a three-way tie for 120th-place in the overall POY standings.
A total of 249 players entered the event, building a prize pool of $1,029,661. In the end it came down to Khun and France’s Benjamin Pollak. The last of the money went in after Khun opened, Pollak moved all-in and Khun called with 88.
Pollak was behind with the K7, but flopped a lot of outs when the A99 hit the board. The turn J left Pollack with one pull at any diamond of one of the three remaining kings, but the 7 on the river secured the pot and the title for Khun. Pollack earned $162,822 for this runner-up finish at his third WPT event final table.
