On Sunday, Nov. 5, Mötley Crüe's Vince Neil is hosting the second annual Off the Strip Poker Tournament in The Joint at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas. Celebrities, poker professionals, and local erotic dancers will unite to raise money for the T.J. Martell Foundation, via the Skylar Neil Foundation, organizations dedicated to raising money for cancer, AIDS, and leukemia research.
Neil will host a cocktail party at 3 p.m., with the tournament scheduled for 4 p.m., and a silent auction featuring memorabilia from the sports, music, and entertainment worlds going on throughout the day.
Buy-in for the tournament is $540, but only 150 seats are available, so participants are encouraged to register early. Players will compete for $50,000, with the remaining money raised by the tournament and auctions going to charity.
The Skylar Foundation was established in 1995 by Neil to honor his daughter who passed away from cancer as a child. To date, Neil has helped raise over $1 million for charity. This year's confirmed sponsors include Eagle Warranty Corp., Counts Kustoms Las Vegas choppers, Red Bull, Steve Ruthenbeck, Howard Schlick, Las Vegas Golfer Magazine, and The Small Town Poker Tour (STPT). STPT is offering all tournament registrants a seat in any one of its events across the country.
