A French player is $100,000 richer after winning the Fort Knox Jackpot at Titan Poker.

Remy Elkoubi, from Marseille, France, became the fifth Titan poker player to win the Fort Knox Jackpot promotion. In July, Guy Meridjen, also from France, took home $100,000. In April, Derrick Morin from Canada, Richard Stringer from the United Kingdom, and Joseph Dulaney from Texas all won the grand prize. Derrick Morin had never even made a deposit when he hit the $100,000 jackpot.

Elkoubi won the prize after hitting a straight flush in his final tournament.

Players win the jackpot, which starts at $50,000 and increases $10,000 each week until a player hits it, by winning six $59 Fort Knox sit-and-gos in a row. The sit-and-gos are six-player tournaments.

Here's what Elkoubi had to say about his win: "I had tried to win this jackpot a few times, but I never had any success until this beautiful day," he said. "I will remember this day for all of my life. I can barely recall the final game as I was under so much pressure - but I remember the last hand. I won the jackpot with the most beautiful hand - a straight flush. I never believed that I could win this prize but the reality was different; the Fort Knox fortress is not untouchable."
