Jeff Madsen and Jennifer LeighLate Friday night Dec. 15, poker players and industry executives joined together for a night of celebrationRich Belsky, Devonshire, Leigh, and Tiffany at the Bellagio's posh nightclub, Light.

With 10 preliminary events and two flights of the Doyle Brunson North American Poker Classic behind them, participants let their hair down and kicked up their heels in true Las Vegas fashion.

The upstairs VIP lounge of Light was roped off and reserved for WPT guests with complimentary alcohol and mixers. And the vodka was flowing as fast as barmaids could stock the buckets.

Todd Brunson was there to represent the DBNAPC and seemed to have gotten a head start on celebrations. Clonie Gowen shared a booth with Brunson and didn't waste any time catching up toTodd Brunson, Clonie Gowen, and Jill him. John Juanda stayed close to the bar and enjoyed his stogie, while Burt Boutin caught up on old times with his "agent" (some people will do anything for a VIP pass). The suave and smooth Brad Booth was ever the ladies' man Brad Booth and Gus Hansenand Jennifer Leigh brought along several of her friends who dressed up the neighborhood of the upstairs VIP area. Other guests included Bryan Devonshire, Jeff Madsen (who swears he majored in photography in college but couldn't find the shutter button on our Nikon), Gus Hansen, Brandon Cantu, Joe Sebok, Gavin Smith, and many more. Industry executives and media arrived in force, but the only camera on the scene belonged to Card Player, as the others set aside a well-deserved night for socializing.

Many thanks go out to the Bellagio Hotel Resort, Light Nightclub, and the WPT, who hosted and sponsored Friday night's festivities. And hats off to the weekend warriors who returned to work on Saturday for day 2 of the DBNAPC.
