After 10 levels of play on Day 2, Stephen Graner leads the final 13 players in the Card Player Poker Tour Wynn Classic $2,100 no-limit hold’em $300,000 guarantee main event.

Other players still alive include Zo Karim (704,00), Kevin Clanezo (519,000), Keven Stammen (482,000), Jared Hamby (223,000) and Leo Wolpert (214,000).

Play began with 79 players at 12 pm Tuesday and throughout the day the likes of Carlos Mortensen, Larry Wright, Joseph Cheong, Justin Young, Brent Hanks, Kenna James, Matt Berkey, Dan O’Brien and Eric Blair hit the rail.

Just over $111,000 and the title of CPPT champion awaits the winner. The runner-up will take home $72,024.

Players reached the money around 8:30 pm when Kyle Julius was eliminated on the bubble. Julius raised to 12,000 from late position and Eric Molina called from the button. The big blind called and together the three saw a flop of AClub Suit7Spade Suit5Heart Suit.

It checked to Molina, who bet 20,000. The big blind folded and Julius made the call. The turn brought the 6Spade Suit and Julius checked to Molina, who cut out a bet of 50,000 and pushed it into the pot.

After some thought Julius cut out a re-raise and slid it into the middle. Molina almost instantly announced that he was all-in and Julius just as quickly called, flipping up the 4Heart Suit3Heart Suit for a turned straight.

Molina had the AHeart Suit8Heart Suit for top pair and a higher straight draw.

The 4Club Suit hit on the river, giving Molina the superior eight-high straight and the pot while sending Julius to the rail as the bubble boy.

Players of note who finished in the money included Ryan Laplante (26th – $5,052), Day 2 chipeleader Scott Demoulin (22nd – $5,052), David Levi (18th, $5,773) and Dan Sindelar (14th – $7,217).

Day 3 will begin at 12 pm Wednesday and live reports from the tournament floor will be available on cardplayer.com throughout the day.
