The six players that made the final table of the 2015 World Series of Poker Europe €2,200 eight-game mixed event had combined prior live tournament earnings of more than $27.8 million. Half of the final table had already won a WSOP bracelet, with Shaun Deeb, Scott Clements and Jonathan Duhamel all owning at least one WSOP title. So it goes without saying that there was stiff competition for the most recent bracelet awarded at the WSOP Europe festival at the Spielbank Berlin in Germany.

In the end the player that emerged victorious was the one with the least prior live tournament success: Uruguay’s Alex Komaromi. The 25-year-old from Montevideo had only $288,456 in prior cashes to his name before he overcame this tough final table. For the win he earned €65,740 ($74,944 USD) and his first WSOP gold bracelet.

“It really means a lot,” he told WSOP.com reporters. “It’s like a dream to me. I started watching poker on TV with the World Series. [It seemed] so far away. And now that I achieved it, it’s great.”

In the end Komaromi defeated two-time bracelet winner Scott Clements heads-up for the title. Clements earned $46,335 and 300 Card Player Player of the Year points at his sixth final table of 2015.

Fourth-place finisher Jonath Duhamel scored $24,014 and 180 points at his fourth final table of the year. The Candian won his second bracelet this summer when he took down the $111,111 One Drop High Roller at the WSOP for $3,989,985 and 1,320 points. With three title wins this year he now sits in 29th place in the Player of the Year standings.

Here is a look at the payouts and POY points awarded at this final table:

Place Player Earnings (USD) POY Points
1 Alex Komaromi $74,944 360

4 Jonathan Duhamel $24,014 180
5 Shaun Deeb $17,368 150
6 Jens Lakemeier $12,569 120
