Poker Hall of Famer Doyle Brunson has outplayed cancer once again.

The 10-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner said on social media Monday that he had a successful surgery to treat more skin cancer that was discovered. A little over a year ago, Brunson had the 12th major surgery of his life to remove cancerous growths on the top of his head.

This growth apparently was on his face.

This summer will mark three years since Brunson’s last cash at the WSOP. In 2013, Brunson finished 409th in the main event, and he later said that he was done playing tournaments due to his age. He still plays high-stakes cash games in Las Vegas.

Brunson is 82, and he turns 83 in August.
