New Jersey brick-and-mortar and online poker rooms raked a combined $5.28 million in September, according to figures released by state gaming regulators.
Just over $2 million came from online play, while $3.26 million was from live poker.
Borgata led the way in the live setting with $2.32 million in rake, followed by Harrah’s ($318,000), Bally’s ($295,000), Tropicana ($233,000), Golden Nugget ($75,000) and Trump Taj Mahal ($21,000).
The Taj Mahal closed on Oct. 10, which came just months after it reopened its poker room. The casino could be back in business next year without a union contract.
On the online side of things, Resorts Digital was tops in poker with $744,000 in revenue, followed by Caesars Interactive ($641,000) and Borgata ($631,000).
Resorts is the brick-and-mortar partner of PokerStars.
Online poker rake was $1.77 million in September 2015. The year-over-year increase was 14 percent. Live poker rake was $3.35 million in September 2015, which reflects a year-over-year decrease of three percent. The combined poker revenue was $5.12 million.
Total internet gaming win was $16.23 million in September, up 35 percent from $12.03 million in the same month last year.
Overall casino industry gaming win for the month was $226.6 million, a decrease of 1.5 percent compared to the $230.1 million won in September 2015.
