Game 1 of the 2016 World Series begins Tuesday night, and the Chicago Cubs are favored to capture their first title in over 100 years.

Cleveland has home-field advantage in the World Series.
At Bovada, the Cubs were +500 before the regular season started. The Indians were +1800.
According to a report from ESPN, the betting odds at one Las Vegas sports book on Saturday night were Cubs -175 and Indians +155. A FOX report said another Strip area sports book had the Cubs opening at -220 and the Indians at +190.
The Cubs beat the Dodgers in Game 6 on Saturday night.
The 2016 World Series begins just days after a Congressman from New Jersey signaled his intent to introduce legislation to legalize sports betting nationwide.
The MLB has taken a neutral position on the issue. The NBA is in support of sports betting, while the NFL says it still opposes it.
