Nevada Poker Rooms Rake $8.9M In November

Revenue Nearly Unchanged Year-Over-Year

Nevada’s poker market was $8.92 million in November, according to data released Thursday by Silver State gaming regulators. There were 65 poker rooms with a combined 625 cash game tables during the month.

The cash game revenue was nearly unchanged from the $8.97 million raked in November 2015. Over the last 12 months, the poker rooms raked $117.7 million, also virtually unchanged from the same period a year prior.

On or around the Las Vegas Strip last month, poker revenue was $5.68 million, down less than one percent year-over-year. The Strip area had 20 poker rooms with 275 tables in November.

Through all but the last month of 2016, rake has increased year-over-year in five of the months, while falling in six of them. Notably, both months of WSOP action saw year-over-year gains.

Nevada poker revenue fell 1.57 percent in 2015 to about $118 million.
