Live poker in Illinois generated $1.1 million for the state’s gambling facilities last month, according to data release by the state. There were 38 poker tables.
March 2016 had 42 tables and $1.19 million in poker revenue, according to the Illinois Gaming Board. There was $1.04 million in revenue from 41 tables in March 2015.
Through the first three months of 2017, the Illinois poker market was $3.34 million, down about nine percent compared to the $3.68 million raked during the same period last year.
Neighboring Indiana had $1.8 million in poker revenue last month. Indiana has 125 tables. Poker revenue was also down year-over-year there.
Over in Atlantic City, live poker revenue of $2.5 million last month was a 2.5 percent year-over-year increase. Atlantic City has about 150 poker tables.
