The popular Irish poker pro and long-time
CardPlayer Europe contributor Roy "The Boy" Brindley beat out William Thorson, Tony G., and Ram Vaswani to come out on top. By doing so, Roy claimed a $122,000 prize and
Betfair Poker Masters of Europe Champion title.
"I got to the stage where I was really enjoying playing, winning or losing," said Brindley. "This is the first televised tournament I've won in five years. It means a great deal. More so financially now we have the baby."
