The Las Vegas Raiders might have to wait until 2021 to play their first game in Sin City.

According to reports, there’s no guarantee a lease agreement for the new Las Vegas stadium will be finalized in time this year. The setback could push back the debut of the team in the U.S. gambling capital.

Earlier this month, the Raiders paid $77.5 million for a site that the proposed stadium will sit on. The location is on Russell Road near the south end of the famous Las Vegas Strip.

The Raiders are eying a stadium worth $1.9 billion, which would take some 32 months to construct on the 62-acre site. The plans call for 65,000 seats.

NFL owners in late March approved the team’s move to Las Vegas.

According to casino industry estimates, a NFL team in Las Vegas will bring 800,000 additional people to the city annually and generate $620 million in annual economic activity.
