Bills running back LeSean McCoy is feeling pretty confident about the Golden State Warriors, after he bet on them prior to game 1 at minus 320 to win the NBA finals. The Warriors took a 2-0 lead against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.
McCoy, who signed a five-year $40 million deal with Buffalo in 2015, posted a photo to his Instagram account showing a $200,000 bet placed at the Planet Hollywood casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
The Pro Bowler will win about $62,000 if the Cavs don’t come back and win the series.
According to a report from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, McCoy’s $200,000 bet was the largest taken by the casino on the 2017 NBA Finals. There are about 190 sports books in the state.
A total of $1.4 billion was bet on basketball last year in Nevada, trailing only football ($1.7 billion). Baseball was third with $1 billion.
