Maryland Poker Rooms Rake $3.6M In February

Revenue Down 2.4 Percent In Year-Over-Year Comparison

Maryland’s poker rooms generated $3.59 million in rake from their games last month, according to figures from the Maryland Lottery.

The revenue was down 2.4 percent compared to the $3.68 million raked in February 2017. Through the first two months of the year, the four brick-and-mortar poker rooms took in $7.3 million. Revenue was down by five percent in January. MGM National Harbor, the largest poker room in the state based on revenue, opened in December 2016.

The poker room revenue accounted for seven percent of total statewide non-slot revenue during the month. Here’s a look at the poker rooms by poker revenue last month.

Live! Casino: $1.29 million
Horseshoe Casino Baltimore: $499,000
