International Gaming Technology (IGT) has announced a five-year partnership with Penn National Gaming to provide a digital gaming platform for HollywoodCasino.com, which will service the newly regulated Pennsylvania online gambling market.

IGT’s PlayCommand will give Hollywood Casino customers the option to play slot games, bingo, and poker. Penn National expects to be able to roll out their product sometime in early 2019.

“We’re excited to leverage IGT’s platform and content for our online gaming launch in Pennsylvania,” said Managing Director of PIV and Sr. Vice President of Penn National Gaming Chris Sheffield. “The flexibility and reliability of the PlayCommand platform, coupled with the proven game library within IGT’s PlayCasino, give us confidence that HollywoodCasino.com will deliver the same caliber of world-class gaming entertainment that our players have come to love in our land-based casinos.”

Pennsylvania began issuing online gaming licenses in August, with the first three going to Harrah’s Casino Philadelphia, Parx Casino, and Mount Airy Resort Casinos.

IGT has formed other partnerships in the past, including a deal last year to provide online slot games for PokerStars and their real-money casino platform. That news came just one month after the company opted to sell its online social casino DoubleDown.

Penn National operates 40 gambling facilities in the United States and Canada, most of which fall under the Hollywood Casino brand. In Pennsylvania, Penn runs The Meadows Racetrack and Casino in North StrabaneTownship, and the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville.
