A few weeks ago, Phil Hellmuth broke a three-way tie he shared with Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan when he won his eleventh World Series of Poker bracelet, which is the most in WSOP history.

Today, Brunson has a chance to re-tie Hellmuth in the $10,000 World Championship Pot-Limit Omaha event that's set to begin its conclusion at 2 p.m. PT. Brunson is one of nine players who made it to the final table.

Here are the players and their chip counts:

  • Tom Ly, $1,895,000
  • Robert Mizrachi, $1,090,000
  • Rene Mouritsen, $775,000
  • Patrik Antonius, $650,000
  • Doyle Brunson, $510,000
  • Jonas Flug-Entin, $445,000
  • Marco Traniello, $420,000
  • Stephen Ladowsky, $360,000
  • Steve Sung, $175,000

The final table participants are those left of a field that started with 314 players and generated a prize pool of $2,951,000. The winner receives $768,889, while the runner-up gets $464,877. Each player is guaranteed $50,177 for making it to the final nine.

Brunson is a two-time WSOP champion and has made 23 final tables, including this event. He last won a bracelet in 2005, when he was 71 years old. He'll turn 74 in August.
