Southern California Man Hits Penny Slot Jackpot For $1.6 Million

Jackpot Was Hit On Wheel Of Fortune Ultra Wheels Penny Slot At Valley View Casino

A gambler, identified simply as Robert S, was playing the IGT Wheel of Fortune Ultra Wheels penny slot machine at Valley View Casino and Hotel in north San Diego County. He hit the machine’s jackpot and won more than $1.6 million.

“I’m still in shock,” Robert told local media. “I couldn’t sleep for two days. I was up tossing and turning and thought they would call me and say the machine malfunctioned.”

According to local news outlets, Robert won’t be gambling with his newfound wealth. He plans on investing it and using it as a source for early retirement.

Last month, a slot player in Oregon earned a similar score when an unidentified gambler turned a penny slot spin into $1.585 million at Chinook Winds Casino.
