Golden Gates Casino in Black HawkA poker player was arrested Sunday evening when she allegedly called the cops on another player after being eliminated from a poker tournament in Colorado.

According to an account from poker pro and WSOP bracelet winner Will Givens, the woman in question got into a verbal altercation with another player at the table during a tournament at the Golden Gates Casino in Black Hawk. She was facing a bet from her opponent, who told her that he would show his hand if she showed hers. She then said that she would rather expose her breasts than the contents of her hand.

From there, the banter supposedly became more heated when the opposing player declined the offer, stating that she looked like a transsexual. The woman was eventually eliminated from the tournament. Instead of leaving the room, however, Givens reported that she then called the police and demanded a refund for her tournament buy-in.

According to Givens’ account of the story, the responding police discovered the woman in question had an outstanding warrant, which led to her being taken out in handcuffs.

Update: The woman has been released from custody and has subsequently denied calling the police, according to social media posts. She also says that the player who insulted her did so unprovoked. Givens, however, stands by his account of the action at the table.

The Colorado State Poker Championship is currently running at the property from Aug. 8-28.
