This weekend, Global Poker continued to roll as the fastest growing cardroom in the U.S. with the Sunday Teaser and Sunday Scrimmage.

The $25,000 guaranteed Sunday Teaser eventually went to Colorado online player ‘StretchyClaws’, who banked $5,100 for toping a field of 230. Over in the Sunday Scrimmage, ‘Simsalabim’ pocketed $9,881 of the $51,200 prize pool, which narrowly beat it’s $50,000 guarantee. The Michigan poker player bested 256 entrants for the win.

Global Poker is once again sending their best to represent them on the live felt, and this time, the fastest-growing online poker site in the U.S. is teaming up with the Card Player Poker Tour.

The CPPT, now in its seventh season, will be hosting players for an $1,100 buy-in quantum main event in Los Angeles. Global Poker players, however, will have a chance to win their seat for much cheaper, along with travel expenses and some Global Poker swag, for a package valued at more than $2,200 in total.

Satellites are already running now through Oct. 6. Players can win step tournaments to get their hands on a prize package, starting at just SC$1! Or you can skip right to step four with a buy-in of SC$240.

This weekend, five more players booked their ticket to Los Angeles, including Pennsylvania’s ‘K_Slick’ and ‘SirRandom,’ California’s ‘SaucinOnYou444,’ Massachusetts’ ‘5betbluff711,’ and Ontario’s ‘Luckypiggy.’

The live event will take place in Oct. 17-21. Click here for more information on the CPPT.
