2019 Card Player Poker Tour Seneca Niagara Fall Poker Classic Boasts $380,000 In Guarantees

The Nine-Event Series Is Set To Run From Nov. 8 - 18

The Card Player Poker Tour is making its way back to the Seneca Niagara Casino for the fourth straight year. The 2019 CPPT Seneca Fall Poker Classic is set to run from Nov. 8-18, with nine events featuring combined guarantees of $380,000.

The whole affair kicks off with the $100,000 guaranteed $265+$35 buy-in no-limit hold’em event. The tournament features four starting flights, beginning at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on both Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9. Players will start the tournament with 20,000 in chips, with 30-minute levels. Those that survive through their starting flight will combine into one field on Sunday, Nov. 10 to play down to a winner.

2018 CPPT Seneca Fall Poker Classic Main Event Champion Victor AdamsThe marquee event of the series is the $200,000 guaranteed Card Player Poker Tour main event, which once again sports a buy-in of $910+$90. The main event begins with two starting flights, each beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16. Day 2 will see the field narrowed to the final six players, who will return on Nov. 18 to play down to a champion. The eventual champion will not only take home the top payout in the event, but will also earn a spot on a future cover of Card Player Magazine! In 2018 Victor Adams outlasted a field of 249 entries to secure the title, the $53,583 top prize and his place on the cover.

Players looking to win their main event seat at a discount can take part in the numerous scheduled $145 qualifiers. Satellites take place on the following Saturdays: Oct. 19, 26, and Nov. 2 at 3 p.m. Another $145 qualifier will take place starting at 6 p.m. pm Sunday, Nov. 10, with nightly qualifiers available at 8 p.m. from Monday, Nov. 11 to Thursday, Nov. 14. Friday, Nov. 15 will see two qualifiers held at 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., while Saturday, Nov. 16 will host the last-chance morning qualifier beginning at 10 a.m.

For players who would like to win their way in at an even cheaper price point, there will be several $45 satellites with five seats guaranteed on Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m., on Oct. 18 and 19, Oct. 25 and 26 and Nov. 1 and 2.

In addition to the kickoff tournament and the main event, the series will also host five events with a $10,000 guarantee, including a $150 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament on Nov. 10, a trio of $125 buy-in no-limit hold’em events on Nov. 11-13, and another $150 no-limit hold’em event on Nov. 17.

There are also two $15,000 guaranteed tournaments on the schedule. The $300 buy-in pot-limit Omaha event will take place on Nov. 14 starting at 11 a.m., while the $300 no-limit hold’em event will begin later the same day at 3 p.m.

In preparation for the CPPT series, the Fall Poker Classic Warm Up will run from Oct. 11-13, highlighted by a $50,000 guaranteed $170+$30 no-limit event with four starting flights starting at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Oct. 11 and 12. The survivors will play down a champion on Oct. 13.

The Seneca Gaming and Entertainment poker room is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the first floor of the Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel.
