The $1,111 buy-in ‘Every 1 For COVID Relief’ tournament, part of the 2020 World Series of Poker Online festival, drew a field of 2,323 entries, creating an overall prize pool of $2,580,853.

The tournament was one of the first international events to kick off, last week. Unfortunately, a “critical bug” was discovered during level 5 of the event, forcing tournament host GGPoker to postpone the action.

The event resumed Sunday afternoon, and the field began the march towards the final table. Notables who finished in the money included Elio Fox, Daniel Strelitz, Mikita Badziakouski, Dario Sammartino, Bertrand Grospellier, Adrian Mateos, and Roberto Romanello, who just earned his first bracelet in another event.

The final table was a truly international affair, featuring players from the UK, India, Mexico, and Japan. The final heads-up battle came down to Martin ‘colinchow’ Ilobera from Argentina, against Alek ‘astazz’ Stasiak from Canada.

Stasiak started with a slight chip deficit heads-up, but was quickly able to seize control of the match when he turned a straight against Ilobera’s busted nut flush draw.

On the final hand, Ilobera made his stand with pocket deuces, and Stasiak called with Ah 6s. The flop brought the Ad, and Stasiak claimed the final pot of the tournament, along with his first career bracelet and the first-place prize of $343,203.

Here is a look at the payouts awarded at the final table:
