For one week in early October, Global Poker plans to run an entire series of online poker knockout tournaments with the site’s eagerly anticipated Bounty Series.
The 66-tournament series officially starts Sunday, Oct. 4 and runs until Oct. 11, with 33 Gold Coin and 33 Sweeps Coins events to choose from along the way. There will be more than SC 2,000,000 and SC 500,000 guaranteed during the event.
If you are new to bounty tournaments, don’t fret. These tournaments follow much of the same rules and gameplay as regular hold’em, but the key difference is that there is a bounty on everyone’s head. If you knockout another player, you’ll get a bonus payout, even if you’re not yet in the money!
