According to a survey of election officials, nearly 100 million Americans have already voted. That represents nearly half of all registered voters nationwide, and is already 70 percent of the total votes cast in the 2016 presidential election with Election Day still to be tabulated.

If you are an American with the ability to vote, there is still time!

Registered voters can, of course, still vote in person on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at their local polling center. However, there are numerous states that also offer same-day voter registration for those who have not yet done so.

The states include Alaska*, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Rhode Island*, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and the District of Columbia, according to Ballotpedia. (*President Only)

Even if you aren’t interested in deciding who becomes the next President, there are five states with gambling initiatives on the ballot this year.

South Dakota, Louisiana, and Maryland are all voting on sports betting legalization, while Colorado is deciding on whether to increase the maximum bet rules that are currently in place.

Nebraska, on the other hand, is deciding whether to bring casinos to its state at all. The Cornhusker state has three initiatives all relating to the issue and if all three pass, it will no longer be one of the few states in the union without casino gambling.
