The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on Wednesday approved a consent agreement between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and Presque Isle Downs and Casino in Erie County over underage gambling.

The property was fined $15,000 for an underage gambling violation, the state said.

The fine stemmed from an incident in which two 19-year-old females gained access to the Presque Isle Downs and Casino’s gaming floor for almost two hours, according to regulators. They played slot machines.

The state didn’t reveal the names of the two women.

Presque Isle Downs opened in 2007 and has roughly 1,500 slot machines. It’s owned by Kentucky-based Churchill Downs.

According to state figures, the casino won $97,455,720 from its slot machines in 2021.
