New Jersey Gambling Market Hits $423M In MarchRevenue Up Nearly 18% Year-Over-Year |

New Jersey’s gambling industry generated $423.7 million in winnings in March, according to figures from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
Casinos, racetracks, and their respective partners reported that figure, which was a 17.9% increase from $359.3 million reported in March 2021.
For year-to-date, total gaming revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners was $1.18 billion, up 18.6% from $993.7 million during the same period a year prior.
Based upon filings with the Division of Gaming Enforcement, in-person casino win for the nine properties was $216.6 million for March 2022, up 17.2% compared to $184.9 million in March 2021.
For the month of March, online casino win was $140.7 million, up 23.7% compared to $113.7 million for the prior period. Over the first three months of 2022, internet gaming win reported by casinos and their partners was $408.5 million, up 31.2% compared to $311.2 million from the same period a year prior.
Sports betting revenue was $66.4 million for March, up 9.3% when compared to $60.8 million in March 2021. The year-to-date total was $157.5 million, a 16.8% decline when compared to $189.3 million for the first three months of 2021.
