UFC's Colby Covington Shows Off Poker Skills With Win In Florida

Welterweight Star Wins Nearly $75,000 At Seminole Hard Rock

seminolehardrockpokeropen.comUFC welterweight star Colby Covington cashed for $74,173 between two poker tournaments this week in Florida at the 2022 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open.

Covington, who has twice challenged for a UFC belt, finished in seventh in a $400 buy-in event for $48,298. That July 31st event had a whopping 7,703 entrants.

Later, in an Aug. 2nd $1,100 pot-limit Omaha eight-handed event, Covington finished first for $25,875. That tournament had 84 entrants.

The results bring Covington’s lifetime record poker earnings to roughly $120,000. He has 22 total lifetime cashes across his years-long poker playing career.

Covington, currently No. 1 in the UFC welterweight rankings behind champion Kamaru Usman, has a 17-3 MMA record. His most recent fight was a win over Jorge Masvidal in March.
