The World Poker Tour has released the second half of the schedule for Season XXI, and the international trend of the tour will continue to close out 2023. There are seven stops in total that will take the tour to five different countries outside of the United States, and there are also a pair of Florida stops in November.
“As we build out the remainder of the schedule for Season XXI of the World Poker Tour, we are happy to be returning to some familiar WPT hosts, while we also welcome a first-ever stop in Liechtenstein, continuing our pledge to bring poker to loyal players around the globe,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska.
There are four WPT Prime stops, and three Main Tour stops in the second half of the season. Action will begin in the second half with WPT Prime Aix-en-Provence running from Aug. 3-6 with a €1,100 buy-in main event, and the Main Tour will pick up action after the summer with a second stop back at The Star Gold Coast for WPT Australia from Sep. 22-27 (WPT Prime Gold Coast takes place soon on Mar. 2-6). The main event will feature an increased buy-in of AUD $8,000.
The three other WPT Prime stops will take the tour to Taiwan, Liechtenstein, and Spain. WPT Prime Taiwan is scheduled for Aug. 17-21 with a main event buy-in of TWD 33,000. WPT Prime Liechtenstein is up next running from Sep. 8–11, and the buy-in for the main event will be CHF 1,100. Rounding out the WPT Prime stops will be WPT Prime Madrid from Sep. 28–Oct 1, and the main event features a buy-in of €1,100.
The first of two Florida stops on the Main Tour will take the WPT back to bestbet Jacksonville for the first time since 2019. The WPT bestbet Scramble will take place Nov. 10-14 with a $5,000 buy-in for the main event.
The tour will return to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in South Florida once again the weekend after Thanksgiving for the WPT Seminole Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open. The main event features a buy-in of $3,500.
